Two-part crime drama based on true events. After fleeing her abusive husband and falling in love with another man, Banaz Mahmod (Buket Komur) goes missing. DCI Caroline Goode (Keeley Hawes) leads the investigation into her disappearance, before Banaz's body is found and Goode's attention turns to who would want Banaz dead.
